Andrea Nordling
Hello, my friend. Welcome back to The Profitable Nutritionist Podcast. I have got some messaging and marketing support for you in this episode. In fact, my hope is that I am going to blow your mind a little bit with some out-of-the-box ways to fix your ineffective messaging and marketing. If you feel like it is exhausting right now for you to be promoting your business because you aren't seeing the fruits of that labor, this is a huge problem that people come to us here at the Profitable Nutritionist to fix, and we do help them fix it. But the actual prescription for the fix is sometimes a little bit different than what people think.
00:43
Andrea Nordling
Because I do teach a lot of different messaging strategies and specific language patterns to use to talk about the problems that your ideal clients have and the solution that you offer and the results that they get when they work with you. But by always anchoring back to the process that you bring your clients through. Let me say this again, we're always talking about the problems that your easiest clients have, the solution that you offer to them, and the results that they get through the lens of the very specific process that you bring your clients through.
01:13
Andrea Nordling
There is a way to talk about the process that you bring your clients through to cover all of those bases and to entice people to have more conversations with you and move into a sales conversation where you then will enroll people who are a good fit and to pay you and work with them. Okay, there's a method to the madness here on the exact language patterns that we use. People know, and you likely do, if you've been a longtime listener of the podcast, but if not, if you're new here, just let me tell you, this is what we do here at tpn, and this is what I teach my clients in the profitable nutritionist program, is how to do this.
01:45
Andrea Nordling
But before we can get into the nuanced words to say and the words to not say, to do everything I just told you about, we have to make some decisions, okay? Very important decisions. You have to be really clear on the process that you bring your clients through. For example, for us to be able to then break it down and make marketing out of that process and actually talk about it to people in the world so that they can understand if it's the right, next best step for them, if you are the right, next best person for them, and if they even fit the mold for who you work with.
02:17
Andrea Nordling
If you can't articulate that and it's not clear to them, then they're not going to hear what you're saying, and that's when we get into a tight spot where a lot of people are in. And you might be right now if you clicked on this episode where you feel like you are talking about your business, you feel like you are doing things, you feel like you are putting yourself out there and you're putting the word out, but you don't have consistent clients coming back in. And that does feel exhausting and it feels really overwhelming and very frustrating. You will likely start questioning all of your life choices at that point. But really, to fix the problem, we have to go back a few steps. And that's what I want to talk about in this episode.
02:54
Andrea Nordling
Because actually there are three really easy fixes that we can make. If you're at this point where you feel like your messaging is not landing, but you are putting it out there. Three things that we need to fix. And I want to get a little bit of context here also for why this is top of mind right now, because this is exactly what I teach in stage one of the profitable nutritionist program. We make foundational decisions on your person that you serve. Who your easiest client is. I've used that term a couple times now. This is what we refer to collectively as your ideal client. Your easiest client, the one that comes to you already motivated, already ready, willing, able to invest. They are already looking for the solution. They're so excited that they found you and they are ready to go.
03:38
Andrea Nordling
That is your easiest client versus a hardest client, who needs to be convinced, who needs to be overly educated and sold to, and they need a lot of hand holding and they aren't very ready, willing and able. I'll say that would be a hardest client, which is the opposite of what we want. We want that easiest client, right? And there's a very specific criteria for that person. You need to get clear on who that is for you. It's a little bit different for everybody. But that easiest client is the one that is a 10 out of 10 for you. You want to have a hundred more just like them. They light you up. Working with them and showing them transformation and getting them results and celebrating with them and bringing them through.
04:18
Andrea Nordling
The process that you bring your clients through is so much fun and it gives you energy and it gives you purpose and you just want to go and you want to go talk about your business to everybody after you get off a session with an easiest client because they are bringing you life and it's reciprocal and you just feel like this is amazing. Okay, that's your easiest client. So we need to get clear on who that is for you, and then we need to get clear on what the process is that you bring them through and what you're actually selling them. So what you're actually selling them is your offer. Okay. This is the first thing that I do, and I know I'm going on a little bit of a tangent, but I will bring it back here.
04:52
Andrea Nordling
This is the first thing that we do in the TPN program. We get very clear on who this easiest client is, who you are selling to. People get really hung up on this, and we're going to talk about it in a second. Should I have a niche? Is it a tight enough niche? Is it specific enough? Is it too vague? All the niche drama, we get very clear on that first and foremost. Then we decide what we are actually selling. In your business, what are you selling? What is the thing that people can pay you actual money for? Gotta get very clear on that. And then a little subtext underneath your offer is what is the process that you're bringing them through after they pay you in this offer?
05:26
Andrea Nordling
Okay, so there's three different considerations here that are really important decisions that have to be made. And what I have found after coaching over a thousand people at this point through this process, what I have found is that everybody's messaging gets a heck of a lot better when they're really clear and confident on those three things. But at some point, we feel like we've made those decisions for a lot of people. They feel like, well, I should stop. Actually, for people that are just starting out in their business, this is the very first thing that we do. It's the very first thing you need to do. I would love to help you do it. I'm going to tell you about that in a second.
05:59
Andrea Nordling
But for others who are a little bit further along in their business, they've been trying this for a while, maybe have brought in some clients here or there, but they've been at this for a while. They feel like usually that they have made these decisions already and they're like, gosh, I've already done this. Right? I've already made these decisions. I've already gone through that foundational part. I just need help on the messaging. I just need help on my marketing. And for those. That's kind of who I'm talking to in this episode, by the way. For those of you who feel like that is the case, I want to really challenge that for you.
06:28
Andrea Nordling
And the reason I wanted to record this episode today in particular is Because I have an offer to help you to make these decisions in the TPN Quick Start, which is starting in just a couple weeks on June 22nd. So again I will go back and I will give a little bit more context about this. The TPN Quick Start is something that I started doing earlier this year as a beta test just to kind of see how it would go and it has been a huge success.
06:54
Andrea Nordling
What I mean by huge success is the students have come through the Quick Start, have made so much progress so quickly and started citing clients so quickly after the end of the four week Quick Start, which I'll kind of give you some specifics on in a minute because we very specifically look at the decisions that need to be made on their offer, their client delivery process and having a niche or not having a niche. We make those decisions together and the clients clarity that is gained from making those decisions for the first time for those that are brand new or for revisiting those decisions for those who already have kind of gone past that and are not having success with the decisions that they made at some point in the past for various reasons, which I'm going to get into in a second.
07:38
Andrea Nordling
They have so much clarity, they get so much more confidence on what they're actually talking about and what they actually should be saying in any of their marketing or promotion of their business that their messaging gets a lot clearer, it gets a lot more compelling and they signing clients quickly. So that is what I want for you my friend. I want you to reimagine any decisions that you've made so far. Think about what if this was simpler? What if this was actually easier? What if I'm actually unclear on what I'm talking about? And that's why it's unclear for people in my marketing on what I do and who I help and how I help them.
08:12
Andrea Nordling
Maybe I as the business owner need to get more clear on some of these decisions so I can more clearly articulate it to my easiest clients in the world. Makes sense. That's what we are going to do here my friend. Because when your marketing is vague and I really see this a lot, I see a lot of people that come into TPN and they say I've been thinking about joining the program for a long time, but I wanted to do it on my own. I've been listening to the podcast and I've been trying to do this on my own, but I'm just not confident that I can really get clients results.
08:41
Andrea Nordling
I'm just not really confident in who I'm working with and if I'm working with the right niche of people or I'm just not really confident in my offer and my pricing and that people will pay for it. And I just, I keep discounting or I have these, this lower ticket offer that I keep selling or I keep offering to people instead of the one that actually would make me profitable. I just, I'm unclear on some of these decisions. And so I know that I could be more effective if I had a full roadmap and a full order of operations really in what to attack. So that is what we help them with. And then guess what happens. They say, oh my gosh, I wish I had done this sooner because I have so much clarity now and I am off to the races.
09:22
Andrea Nordling
There are so many people who have been in my orbit that have been interested. I just didn't know how to articulate what I was actually doing and why it was helpful for them until I made the decisions myself and I got really clear myself. So that is what we are going to move forth on, my friend, in this episode. And if you are getting a little curious about this Quick Start thing that I keep mentioning, I've talked about a little bit now, let me tell you that the time is now for you to pay full attention to it because we are doing another round of the TPN Quick starting on June 22nd, like I said.
09:57
Andrea Nordling
So the reason this is important is because in the Quick Start we are taking stage one of what I teach in the full TPN program, which is again, these foundational decisions and setting up the profitable foundations in your business for how you are tracking your money, how you are actually bringing in the right people, what who you want to work with, how you are going to define success for you and for them through the process, you bring them through the very specific framework for doing this. And we do it in the full TPN program in stage one.
10:26
Andrea Nordling
But my hypothesis earlier this year in launching the TPN quickstart as a beta was that I have seen how quickly people really ramp up and start signing clients fast and furious when they do the process of making these decisions the way that I teach it in stage one. And so I thought if I could bring people through in a four week container making these decisions and do everything that we do in stage one in the full program, if I could do this in a condensed time period and we do it together and they get a lot of coaching and support on this process that I teach in the full program. My hypothesis is that they will feel so much more confident.
11:02
Andrea Nordling
They will be signed in clients faster, their messaging will be tighter, and they will want to continue the process in the full program. Because selfishly, and I hope that this is obvious, I want to support people in the full TPN program for at least 12 months, which is what we do here at the Profitable Nutritionist. So my thought process was, okay, if we can get some wins sponsored we can get some momentum going and people can feel really confident in what the heck they are selling. They will be more apt to work on the actual messaging frameworks that I teach for how to go sell it because they'll be confident. And you know, this really wasn't too much of a leap because we have taken almost 800 people through the full TPN program at this point.
11:41
Andrea Nordling
So I knew based on the testimonials that we get and the reviews that we get from people just as they go through stage one that would happen. But I thought, what if we did this together for four weeks and hence the TPN Quick Start was born. So we have done three rounds of the Quick Start so far. It has gone really well, actually has far exceeded my expectations on how quickly people would get results and we have had a lot of variation in the experience level that has come through the quickstart, which is again why I wanted to do this episode. Because I have seen how big of a no brainer it is for people that are just starting out in their business.
12:15
Andrea Nordling
So if that is you, if you are just launching your business right now, you're just ready to plug in, it's time to make these decisions. It's time to go get your first clients. The Quick Start is a absolute no brainer for you. You get to come into the program at a fraction of the price of the full TPN investment and kind of get a taste for it, get these foundational decisions made, start getting progress in your business, get confident in your offer to be able to go sell it. And then what we do is at the end of the Quick Start you have the opportunity to apply your Quick Start investment to the full program and to continue the process. So if you are brand new, it is a no brainer.
12:48
Andrea Nordling
But what I have also seen, which kind of surprised me, although it shouldn't have, is that we've had a lot of people that have come into the quickstart who are a little bit more established, but what they are selling or who they are working with or something about their messaging just has not been working the way that they need it to be and they're exhausted. They've been taking action, but they're exhausted because they just feel like I am really putting in the hours and I am not getting the clients coming in. I need to revisit some of these decisions and figure out what is it about my offer, my process, or the people I'm talking to that isn't landing. And like, what are these decisions that I need to go back to?
13:22
Andrea Nordling
So for those, and if that is you, my friend, please pay attention. This is the next step. It's going back to the basics. It isn't doing more, doing more. It isn't more social media posts and learning a new strategy. And oh my gosh, I need to do a podcast on YouTube and now I need to do more long form and I need to mix it with more short form. And it has to be a low ticket offer. And then I also need a high ticket and I have to have an ascension model. And it's not making it more complicated.
13:46
Andrea Nordling
It's actually going back to the basics, to the foundational decisions of your offer, your process, your niche, or no niche, by the way, and how you talk about it so that we can get you confident and we can get the right messaging in place. Now, I have taken 13 minutes to explain to you why this is really important. Hopefully I have your buy in here, that your messaging and your marketing is a byproduct if its effectiveness of what you say and what you don't say is a byproduct of these decisions that you make and how confident you feel in it. So let's get into what this actually looks like, okay?
14:20
Andrea Nordling
When people come into TPN or into the quickstart and they say, oh my gosh, I really know that my biggest problem I have in my business is I need better marketing or I need to refine my messaging. This is what people usually say, I need to refine my messaging. What is happening for people at this stage is they are usually working a lot of hours, like six hours a day, eight hours a day sometimes they're creating content, they're tweaking their website, they're. They're redoing their website over and over again. They're trying and trying to get themselves out there to talk to other practitioners, to get referrals for other people in their network from other parallel business partners. They are doing the things, but the clients are not coming consistently. So they're like, oh my gosh, okay, my marketing is Working. My messaging isn't working.
15:01
Andrea Nordling
And I just need to get better at that. I need to get a better strategy, a different strategy. I need to do more, do more. And I deeply understand this feeling as a fellow action taker. That is always my default as well. It is always okay, I just gotta do more. I just gotta do more. I gotta take more action, I gotta throw more spaghetti at the wall. I can do it. I have a lot of evidence in my life for why this is true and why that is effective. But also there is an easier way. There is a much easier way. So when I see these people and I work with these people, either in TPN or in the quickstart, when I pull back the layers and ask some questions, here's what I usually find.
15:39
Andrea Nordling
They actually have multiple offers, or they have one offer that's kind of half decided. One of those two things is usually happening. It's much more common that they have multiple offers, like three, four different offers at different price points that are very confusing. And when they explain it to me, I can't understand what's going on here. And believe me, their potential clients cannot understand what's going on either. A lot of times they can't even understand or remember, why am I, why do I have this one thing that I do? Oh yeah, it was an idea that I had and because one person asked about it. And so then I decided to do that. Now it's on my website and I don't. It's like, what's even going on here? So multiple offers is a very common symptom here.
16:19
Andrea Nordling
But none of them are selling consistently or one offer that they want to sell that's kind of half decided, but they're shaky on it and have a lot of uncertainty around the pricing or what's actually being delivered or honestly, if people will pay for it. So that's a huge problem. I can also peel back the layers in these conversations and ask some questions about their client delivery process and very quickly see that they are not that confident in the process. And sometimes this isn't the case, but a lot of times it is because of having multiple offers or serving multiple different types of people and having some niche uncertainty. People are trying to do all of the things.
16:57
Andrea Nordling
And so in that they're like, well, what's the process for somebody that has acid reflux versus what's the process for somebody who is in perimenopause and is it the same? And oh my gosh, I don't know how to talk about this because these are different people. And that creates a lot of confusion in your brain, which turn, in turn, makes a lot of confusion in your marketing and in your messaging. So you can't. Ultimately, what I'm trying to say is you can't sell what you haven't decided on. Okay? You can't market it. You can't.
17:23
Andrea Nordling
If you haven't made the decision and you're not 100% clear on what the heck it is you're talking about, your time spent talking about anything to anyone is going to be much less effective than it could be if we took a little bit of dedicated action on just getting clear on these decisions. By the way, nothing has gone wrong here. If you have done this or if you are in this cycle right now, like I said, takes one to no one, my friend. I am this very same person. I want to move fast. I want to take the action. I want to go, go. I just want to do, do.
17:56
Andrea Nordling
And if left to my own devices, and I'm not following a process with some checks and balances here to make sure that I'm doing it in the right order, I will skip the step. This feels like. Oh, yeah. Okay. We'll come back to that later. Don't, don't, don't. Absolutely do not do this, because it will make the time that you are spending working on your business much less effective. You will get much more burned out. You will feel less excited about it. You will be so much more likely to create 26 different offers and a million different funnels and different websites and different niches and different. Just different everything. Instead of helping the people that are your easiest clients that are over here waving their hand saying, oh, my gosh, can you help me?
18:32
Andrea Nordling
And you could, but you can't see the forest for the trees if you're in this state. Okay, so if you're marketing right now, your messaging feels vague. You feel like you're putting in the time, you're putting it out there, but it is just not landing. We gotta go back to these foundational decisions first. Absolutely. Have to. Okay, so let's break down these decisions. Really. There's two of them that we have to get really clear on. And what I have found is one of these is usually a bigger bottleneck than the other for most people. Sometimes we can go really quickly through both of them, but one of them might be a little bit stickier. So the first one is your niche decision. What do I mean by the niche decision?
19:11
Andrea Nordling
I mean deciding if you have a specific niche or if you don't have a niche, that's the decision I want you to make. Okay? So if you're imagining a flowchart, we just got to a T in the road, or like a Y in the road. There aren't 50 different options here. There's just two. Niche or no niche. Okay? People feel so sure that they have to have a niche, and they've been told a million times, you have to have a niche. You have to have a niche. You have to have a niche. I approach this differently, my friend.
19:40
Andrea Nordling
And the reason that I do is because I have seen so much evidence for people unnitching themselves and making a heck of a lot of money and helping a lot of people and getting a lot of evidence in their brain that their process works and that they can help people and that the work that they do in the world is valuable. And when they have that confidence and they have that evidence, their messaging gets a lot better. It gets a lot more compelling. They're a lot more enthusiastic to put themselves in situations where they can talk to potential clients. And as a result, the word spreads.
20:10
Andrea Nordling
And then over time, for some of those clients that I work with, they decide that they do enjoy working with a certain demographic of people or a certain condition or a certain symptom or a certain subset of the clientele that they have helped in this decision to not niche. They have helped a lot of different people with a lot of different things. And a lot of times that niche, the specific person or group of people or type of person they want to work with becomes clear. And then they go, oh, my gosh, this is the niche. This is it. But it becomes clear over time, and they feel confident easing into that versus just being told in a video somewhere, you have to choose a niche. You have to do it today. Pick one. Well, what if you don't know?
20:51
Andrea Nordling
What if you don't feel confident at picking a niche? It's so ridiculous to me that we would say, and I say we, the collective, like, you know, business coaches or marketing coaches would say, no, you have to do it this way to move forward. That's so silly. That's not true for everybody. And yet I do work with some clients who have a very specific niche. They already know I have come from a background of healing myself from pcos, and I want to work with other women who have pcos. Great, Perfect. You're clear in your brain about it. Let's go. But other people don't have that. And if you Don't. You're not doing anything wrong. Okay. It's not a problem. You don't have to have a niche.
21:26
Andrea Nordling
That's why I say we're at a y in the road here on deciding on having a niche right now or not. And this is also a decision that can be remade in the future. So this is what we work on in stage one in the TPN program, in the foundational decisions that we made. We also go through it in the quick start. Okay, so I'm kind of bringing you through the process here of these decisions that need to be addressed. It doesn't mean you have to make a niche decision, but you have to decide if you're going to or if you're not going to. Right. This is going to help you so much in your messaging and in your marketing. When you calm down your brain about this decision, it is completely valid to decide right now.
22:04
Andrea Nordling
I don't have a specific niche and I will reevaluate that decision in the future. It's totally okay. I'm going to read to you one of the feedback statements that we got from somebody in the last round of the quickstart. She posted this. And because we do in the quickstart, we have a certain cadence of how the content is dripped out. So let me give you a little context on this. It'll make more sense of what where she shared this. So on Monday of the Quick start, every week for four weeks together, you will get a checklist that Monday morning with the content that you need to go through for the week. It will take you about an hour to go through the content and then you will have about one to two hours of implementation time.
22:42
Andrea Nordling
So in total, you can expect to spend about two to three hours per week on the content of the quickstart and in implementing everything that I'm going to teach you throughout the four weeks together. But you get a very specific checklist on Monday morning and your portal unlocks with the videos for that week and exactly what to do in order. Then on Wednesday of the week or Thursday sometimes, depending on the day, we do a live group coaching call together where I answer any questions that have come up. I do some teaching and we do some mindset coaching.
23:10
Andrea Nordling
Then at the end of the week on Friday, we send out a check in where you're going to check in on your progress for the week, anywhere where you feel like you got stuck and we celebrate what is working well and the progress that you're making. So a little check in at the End of the week. Here's one of the check ins responses that we got. She said One of my biggest takeaways was realizing that I'm more than okay with not choosing a specific niche right away as I'm just getting started. That realization honestly took a lot of pressure off and helped me focus more on building a solid foundation for my business and my offer. Instead of feeling like I need to have everything figured out immediately, I am starting to feel much more confident about my offer right now.
23:46
Andrea Nordling
I'm working and locking on my pricing over the next couple of days and continuing to organize my delivery in a way that feels clear, structured and aligned. Much more so than before starting the program. I haven't been able to attend the live coaching calls due to scheduling conflicts, but even without that piece live, I've got a great deal out of the recordings. Just so you know, we always give you the recordings. This program has been hugely supportive and has given me a really strong start that would have taken forever to get if I was navigating this alone. I'm excited to navigate the rest of the process. Why am I sharing this with you? Because of the context around taking the pressure off of a niche. Oh my gosh. Is it. Is it the right niche? Is this what I should be doing?
24:24
Andrea Nordling
Does this excite me? Do I want to marry this niche forever and work with this demographic of people for the rest of my career? It's so high pressure. No, you don't actually don't have to make that decision to go help people and get paid right now. So she got clarity that she doesn't have to decide on a niche right now. It really took the pressure off for her to focus on her offer and going out and actually talking about how she can help the humans. She just had to make that decision even though the decision was, nope, just not having a niche right now. Going to revisit this in the future. She committed. Move forward. Done. The loop of uncertainty is what kills your marketing, is what kills your messaging. And people don't understand who you are helping and if you can help them.
25:02
Andrea Nordling
Because honestly you haven't decided who you are helping and if you can help them. You see what I'm saying? Hopefully. All right, so the niche decision, like I said, there's two big decisions here. Niche is half of it. The offer and the specifics of the process that you're delivering in your offer is where people really tend to spin out and feel like they have made the decision, but actually they haven't. Not enough so that they feel confident in talking about it and that their messaging actually makes sense around it. So if you have an offer or you feel like, yes, this is me, I do have an offer, I've made a decision. My question would be, do you really? Not because I doubt you, but because I have helped a lot of people through this process at this point.
25:44
Andrea Nordling
And what I have seen is that most people don't actually have an offer. They have a half decided offer or they have three to five half decided offers. Okay, so what people do tend to do with best of intentions. And again, takes one to no one. I'm over here raising my hand, going, hello. I made this exact mistake myself in the beginning of my nutrition practice. I did the exact same thing. So it takes one to no one. But the big problem is having different packages, different tiers with different price points and different deliverables. And to you it feels clear. But to the humans in the world, it does not feel clear. Because if you are not an expert online marketer, you are not going to know how to articulate the differences in these offers and to market them.
26:28
Andrea Nordling
And I assume if you're listening to this episode, you don't feel like an expert online marketer at this point, which is why you're looking for tips on how to simplify your marketing. Right? I have been doing this full time for 10 years and I don't consider myself anywhere near an expert online marketer. And I will tell you that having done it multiple different ways, your business is a lot simpler if you have one offer that you are selling. So this is very clear in my brain. I want to make it clear in yours. You have to have one signature offer, one premium offer, one all roads lead to Rome offer. And people will fight me on this.
27:03
Andrea Nordling
And maybe you want to, but if you are not selling to enough clients to make your revenue goals and you're not delivering this offer to the amount of people that you want to be, please entertain the thought that maybe what I'm saying is true. Maybe it would be so much easier if you got really good at selling one thing first before introducing any other offers or any other tiers or any other price points. Which we can do, my friend. We can do. This entire episode is me telling you about how I have this year introduced the TPN Quick Start, which is an entry point into the full TPN program. But for the last five years of this podcast, what I've been talking about is the profitable nutritionist program. It's the one offer.
27:48
Andrea Nordling
It's the one process That I bring people through, that gets them the results that they want, which is consistent clients without relying on social media. People come to me because they want to make 5 to 10k per month consistently. That is exactly what we teach you how to do in the profitable nutritionist program. But guess what? Started this business in 2019. So in the early 2026, meaning seven years later, I introduced in a different tier to getting into tpn, which is the quick start. Seven years in, like, really think about that. I gave my brain the gift of just simplifying the business model and figuring out how to effectively sell one offer before I even added another variable into the mix. Before I even had to figure out, okay, how do I sell this new thing?
28:36
Andrea Nordling
Which I'm very much in the experimentation of right now. And I'm loving having something else to talk about and a different way to talk about it. And it's really not that much different because it is just one part of the process that I've already been talking about for the last seven years. But I want to just offer this to all of you who may be listening to this and thinking, gosh, we have to have different offers at different price points. Have to be able to help everybody. Have to be able to have an option for everybody. Calm your brain down. You never will have an option for everybody. You never will. That doesn't even exist. If you were selling something for a dollar, there would still be people who say that it's too much, it's not worth it.
29:11
Andrea Nordling
We know this because our free stuff is still hard to promote. Free discovery calls, freebies on your website. It's not like people are just tearing those off the shelf either. Right? Because nothing is actually free. Our time and attention is worth something. That's a separate podcast episode. I'll come back to the core of this one and just remind you that there is a much simpler way to than having multip tiers and multiple different packages, and that's having one core offer. Okay? And when you are clear on this offer and you know what you're selling, then you are able to talk about it clearly to your potential clients and they know what the heck you're selling. They will actually want to buy it. When you aren't vague about how you're talking about it because you're trying to cover all the bases.
29:52
Andrea Nordling
Like, well, I kind of help people over here and I kind of help people with this thing. And if you're like this kind of a person, I can also help you with this other thing. And Now, I know that you're all confused, but you should just come and book a discovery call anyway. Well, of course they're not doing that because they have no idea if you can help them and how you would help them. And neither do you. Okay, so this is not actually a marketing skill problem when this is happening. This is an offer problem.
30:16
Andrea Nordling
You can be the most talented marketer in the entire world, but if the thing that you're selling isn't clear and decided, the words don't fix it, we still don't know how to talk about it in a way that is compelling for your easiest client to take the next step forward. When someone actually does this work, though, actually goes through the process that I teach on getting very clear on their one premium offer that they're going to be selling and who they're. You know, we've already made the niche decision, so we know who we are talking to now. We are getting very clear on the offer and the process around it. Here's what happens. I grabbed another testimonial from the last round of the Quick Start, which is this. Hello everyone.
30:55
Andrea Nordling
My biggest takeaway from week three is the clarity I achieved after completing the Offers workshop. I'm a person that finds it difficult to articulate my thoughts and often get stuck on spending way too much time on tasks. That being said, the outline, the prompts, and the content of the workshop were worth every penny spent on this program. My level of confidence in speaking about selling and delivering my offer has grown exponentially. I've purchased the full program. I can't wait in. I can't wait to dive into everything it has to offer. So here's why I pulled this particular takeaway statement and I wanted to share it with you. The person who posted this in the Quick Start is someone who self identified as getting stuck overthinking and has trouble articulating her thoughts. Hello, Is that not all of us?
31:38
Andrea Nordling
I'm over here nodding my head like yep, yep. And still she had this breakthrough. Why? Because of the framework of walking through setting up her one offer and the components of the offer. She didn't have to figure out how to do this on her own. I have an entire workshop that I teach that in an hour or less will show you how to do it. I also have the benefit of watching nearly a thousand practitioners at this point that have gone through the process and what is working versus what isn't working. And that is how I can so confidently get on here and do a podcast episode like this where I Can just tell you, please do not have more than one offer.
32:13
Andrea Nordling
If you are not making your revenue goals and you don't have clients streaming through your doors right now consistently, you do not need more than one offer. You need to get really clear one offer that gets a very specific person results. And you need to know how to talk about that in a compelling way that has them moving forward and hiring you. That's what we need to do first. We can add the bells and whistles on later, which is very fun to do from a point of having a lot of demand, having a wait list and having a lot of money in your business bank account.
32:40
Andrea Nordling
But that is the difference, my friend, between spinning your wheels alone at your desk and trying to figure this out on your own and having a process that actually works, that gives you a checklist and a step by step tutorial on how to do it. Let's get you clear on your offer. This is so important because there is the third pattern that kind of lives in the same neighborhood here of uncertainty and taking a lot of action but not getting the results and really second guessing all of your decisions. And this is sneaky by the way, because it feels really responsible when you are in this pattern. This is the pattern of I need to know more first. Like this is a trap of, okay, I just got to get a little bit more information first.
33:21
Andrea Nordling
I just have to know a little bit more first. I need to do a little more research before I can launch, before I can do anything. I need to create some handouts for my clients. Don't even have the clients yet, but I need to create the handouts for them. I need to have pretty stuff in canva. I need to have my practice better set up and operational before I could ever bring a client through the process, before they could ever pay me. I need to have all of the automations ready. Right? It feels like diligence, it feels like you're being thorough, feels like you're being professional.
33:51
Andrea Nordling
But what it actually is trying to solve problems you don't even know that you have yet, instead of just doing what it takes to get clients and figuring out where the problems actually pop up and what actually needs to be solved and trusting yourself to be able to do that. So this is something we see a lot. I've talked about it many, many times on this podcast. But I'll say it again, we can't over research, we just really can't because it's like riding a bike. Okay, you could listen to podcasts like this on how to ride a bike. You could watch YouTube videos on bike riding. You could read books on bike riding. You could talk to other people about their experience in riding a bike and ask them for some tips and tricks and they could give them to you.
34:32
Andrea Nordling
And at the end of the day, did any of that actually help you to get on the seat, to pedal the pedals and to stay balanced and not fall over? Probably not. You're probably gonna be wobbly. You gotta figure out the balance on your own. The only way to learn how to ride a bike is for you to start pedaling and to figure it out and to get better and to have some wobbles and to just do it. You just gotta do it right. This is the same thing in your business. So I'm going to share another testimonial or a takeaway that we had in the quickstart recently because I think that this is really valid for this pattern in particular. Here's what she said. So my biggest takeaway for this week was to keep it simple.
35:10
Andrea Nordling
I've fallen into the trap of I need to know more. Or unrealistically, I need to know everything about this before I'm ready to coach on it. I need to have handouts and content ready to share with my clients. They're going to ask detailed questions, so I better have all the studies saved and ready to send to back me up. I think this comes from my 10 years of rounding with physicians in the hospital. I want to remember that my future clients are not looking for evidence based medicine lectures. Rather, they want the straightforward, easy to digest, actionable info. The Quick Start has been so helpful to me. It's extremely well organized. I love how the focus is on simplifying. Andrea, you've done a fantastic job of distilling things down so that the focus is on the most helpful stuff.
35:47
Andrea Nordling
I didn't realize I needed so much help with Mindset and I'm really glad I made this investment. Love that. And I love her kind words there at the end in particular. But the reason I pulled this one in particular was because of her reflection on the fact that she doesn't need to have all of the evidence, she doesn't need to have all of the handouts, she doesn't need to have all of the content. In fact, her easiest clients don't even want that. They don't. I want you to think about this for yourself. What are you creating right now in an effort to be professional and prepared that your easiest clients don't even want. They don't want to be bogged down with it. They don't want to hear how great you are. And Albert, professional and prepared you are. What they really want is help.
36:26
Andrea Nordling
What they really want is for you to confidently say, I can help you and then help them in the simplest, most doable way. So this is a mindset shift and it's a decision shift, right? It's making the actual decision. This is the action we need to take. This is very tactical and it requires a certain mindset to do that. It requires to do things that are a little bit uncomfortable. It requires to start pedaling the bike when you maybe don't know exactly how to do it. But guess what? You get really good at bike riding after just doing it a little bit and then the day comes. Or you look back on the wobbly training wheels era and you just laugh at like, oh my gosh, that used to be so hard to ride the bike.
37:06
Andrea Nordling
Now I could just jump on any bike and I could just, I could go mountain biking. And I didn't even realize that was possible because I hadn't done it before. But now I realize how easy that is. We just gotta start. We gotta start pedaling. I'm giving you a little pep talk here. Okay? We gotta start pedaling. If you would like to pedal together. By the way, we are launching the next round of the Quick Start. So go to the profitablenutritionist.comstart S T A R T which is also linked up in the description of this episode. 37:46
Andrea Nordling
Right now we have for you to get up to speed on some of the foundational concepts that I teach and getting some of your time management strategies in place before we start week one on June 22nd. So if this is speaking to you at all, and I sure hope it is, I want you to come in and experience the clarity and the confidence that comes from having that clarity in your offer, in your financial tracking process, in the profitability of your offer. Yes, we go through pricing structure and how to actually price your offer as part of the Quick Start. And then of course, the process that you bring your clients through. All of this is what is clouding your brain. You are looping on these unmade decisions or these haphazard decisions that may have been made in the past.
38:28
Andrea Nordling
And that is why your Marketing and your messaging feels hard. It's why it feels exhausting. It's why it isn't working because we got to get clear on this stuff first. So this is speaking to you and I hope it is. Come to the Quick start. The profitable nutritionist.com start. Okay, so now the right order of operations. I have talked about this in various different ways, but I want to make it really clear for you so you can see what is actual order that you need to be addressing these in. Okay. I don't want to leave you with just the problem here. I want you to know this is the framework for fixing it. And again, I would love to help you fix it in the quick start. We'll be doing that starting June 22nd for four weeks together. All the details@theprofitablenutritions.com start. Okay.
39:11
Andrea Nordling
Sequence that actually works, that will calm down your brain and get you the confidence and the clarity that you need to move forward. Is number one to make the niche decision or no niche decision. Again, this is a Y in the road. This isn't an octopus with eight different options, just two. We either have a niche and we're clear on it or we are not making a niche decision right now. We're going to revisit that in the future. So you commit to that. Then you move on to one clear offer with one premium price point and one delivery process. Okay, one offer, one price point, one delivery process. And then you get completely confident in actually knowing what you're selling and how you deliver results to your clients. Little note on the delivery process that you bring your clients through.
39:57
Andrea Nordling
There's a very specific way that I teach in the Quick Start on how to set this up so your brain is so confident in selling it because you know that we have accounted for every part of the process that you are going to bring your clients through to ensure that they get results. I teach you in the Quick Start how to have milestones and activation points and evaluation and coaching as part of your process so that your clients see the progress that they're making every step of the way while you are simultaneously evaluating that process and you're tweaking it as needed on the back end behind the scenes to make sure that they get results.
40:33
Andrea Nordling
There is a very specific way to do this that is the most effective and I teach it to you so your brain calms the heck down and you actually go sell it. Because step four in the order of operations here is to actually go talk about how you help people and market this offer and tell people I can help you, then they pay you and you actually help them. But when you do it in this order and you get confident and you get clear on these foundational decisions, your marketing almost does itself.
41:01
Andrea Nordling
It your messaging, the words they almost write themselves, your website, your web pages, any emails that you're sending, text messages, flyers, promotional materials that you're bringing to a live event, it all basically writes itself because you know who you're talking to, you know what you're selling, you know what transformation you're delivering. And the words come because of the clarity and the confidence in the decisions that you've made. Clarity, by the way, isn't found by just thinking harder. We don't get clarity if we just research a little bit more. Quite the opposite in fact. We then introduce more variables into the mix which we feel like we have to think about even harder. And it takes longer to get started. We gotta just make decisions and start pedaling the bike. Okay, my friend, nothing has gone wrong.
41:41
Andrea Nordling
By the way, if you've been looping on this, you just haven't had the right process yet. I'm sure of it. I would love to help you with the right process, which many others have said is the right process. So I feel pretty clear that and pretty confident that I could tell you if you are resonating with this, come into the quick start theprofitablenutritionist.com start. You can get into your portal right now, immediately save your spot and start the onboarding and the pre work that we have in there for you. So you are ready to hit the ground running on June 22nd. And if you are listening to this in the future, I also have linked up in the description of this episode what your next step is so you can see if we have another round of the Quick Start that we'll be starting.
42:21
Andrea Nordling
We may or may not. Or if there is a different resource that we can point you towards, that would be your next best set. So that will be linked up in the description of this episode. My friend, I hope that I see you on June 22nd.
