Hello, my friend, and welcome back to The Profitable Nutritionist podcast. If your marketing feels exhausting in your business and you are doing all of the things but you're still struggling to get consistent clients, or for it to feel easy or for you to feel like this is doable for the long term, I have some really good news for you. After helping well over 700 health and wellness practitioners at this point, through the four part audit that I'm going to share with you today, I have seen time and time again the same pattern that comes forth. Are you ready for it? If you haven't made at least 10k in your business yet and your marketing or your selling feels hard and overwhelming, there are four fast and easy things for you to fix. I have seen it over and over again.
00:40
Andrea Nordling
This pattern shows up all the time. And most people think that they need a different solution when this happens. Okay? They think that they need better marketing tactics or they need more advanced strategies and they're racking up courses on social media systems and they are racking up trainings and webinars and YouTube videos, trying to build out the perfect website, all of the things. But those are a waste of time because the foundations of their marketing and their selling process is really shaky. Okay? So we have to fix that first. What I'm trying to say is when this pattern shows up that you're not making enough money or it's going too slow, we have to go back to the basics and we have to fix the foundations. Okay? So this episode is for you.
01:20
Andrea Nordling
If you are just starting out in your business or if you are getting ready to start your business in the next two to three months. If that is the case, hang on tight. You're going to take a lot of notes. This is for you. It is also for you. If you've been at this a while, but you haven't yet brought in $10,000 from your current offer. Okay? If that's you, if that just spoke to you and you're like, oh my gosh, that's me, then you're in the right place. It's a really good thing that you push play on this one today because we're going to fix it.
01:44
Andrea Nordling
We're going to go back to the foundations and we're going to make sure do a little audit and figure out what is off so that you can fix it and easily make your marketing and your selling and your promoting of your business, your whole sales process work like you want it to. Okay? Now disclaimer. If your business is Consistently bringing in clients and your offer is profitable and you are hitting your revenue goals, then you probably have these four foundations nailed already. This episode is not for you, okay? And I don't want you to waste your time. So I just want to be really transparent about that. But if not, then we're going to get into it. And the amazing news here is this. These four foundational decisions that I'm going to talk through are easy fixes. Okay?
02:22
Andrea Nordling
When I'm talking foundations, I'm not talking about we have to go build the whole house brick by brick again. No, no, no. These are easy fixes. And when you get them right, your marketing feels effortless instead of exhausting. Okay? So that's why the title of this episode is really important, because we want you to work smarter, not harder. Okay? That's really the CEO way here. Let's do the 20% of activities and effort. That's going to get 80 plus percent of the results. All right? Now, like I said, whether you're just starting out or you've been at this for a while, but you haven't hit that 10k mark yet. Today, I'm going to share with you what the. What these foundations are, what you need to be auditing and revisiting or confidently making decisions about for the first time if you're just starting out.
03:05
Andrea Nordling
And it's going to change everything about how your entire business feels. So there's no coincidence that I'm recording this at the beginning of the year in our shiny new, brand new clean year that we just took out of the box. That sounds weird, but that's how I think about it. It's the perfect time, okay, to either jump in feet first or to go back and make these decisions and make them better so that your year is set up for success. Okay? So I've given you the hype. I've told you what we're going to talk about. Now let's dive into it. Like I said, there are four foundational decisions that most wellness professionals either gloss over or they rush through, or they just skip these altogether because they don't know the answer, and so they just skip it.
03:46
Andrea Nordling
Now, when you do any of those things, like I said, it makes your marketing and your selling process so much harder than it needs to be. It feels like you're always pushing a boulder up a hill like you're close, but you just can't get there. And so we're going to fix it by going through these four decisions, which are, first of all, Your business, financials and legal considerations. Oh my gosh. I know. And there's a danger here of you turning off this episode now that I said financials and legal. It sounds so scary. It's not. We're going to get into it. Number two, your niche. Number three, your easy yes offer. And number four, your signature client process. Now, I'm going to walk you through each one of these decisions. I'm going to show you how people get them wrong.
04:27
Andrea Nordling
Because I've already told you, I've brought hundreds and hundreds of people through this process in the profitable, nutritious program. I know where people go astray here and I know how it creates so much resistance in your business when you don't have these foundational decisions made and you aren't clear and confident about that. So we're going to go through them so that you can audit for yourself. Is this is an area that you need to solidify and we're going to get really nitty gritty on it. Starting with, like I said, your business, financials and legal decisions. Oh my gosh. Scary, right? No, it's not scary. It's not scary at all. In fact, we make this so much more complicated than it needs to be. And we think that we need to go become financial experts and accountants and attorneys before we can make these decisions.
05:12
Andrea Nordling
And none of that is true. However, if you think that's true or if you procrastinate on making these decisions or finalizing these decisions, you are going to struggle to sell in your business because you are not going to feel like you have a business. If you treat this like it's a hobby, you are going to treat it like it's a hobby. Do you see what I'm saying? Maybe I can clear it up by giving you some examples. I have seen so many people and I. I just want to give a little context here. I do sales calls sometimes with people before they purchase the profitable, nutritious program. They want to jump on a sales call. And at this point I have been offering those. I don't know if I will forever depending on when you're listening to this episode.
05:53
Andrea Nordling
But at this point I am happy to ju on a one one call with somebody and answer their questions and find out if the program would be a good fit for them. So I ask a bunch of questions on that call and if it isn't a good fit for them, I tell them very honestly, I don't think this is the next best step for you. I think this is what you should do instead. So through that discovery process of me asking a bunch of questions, I talk about money, I ask questions about money, ask questions about their beliefs about money, sometimes if I need to. And what I see time and time again is that there are some decisions about finances, pricing, tracking money, setting up legal entities.
06:29
Andrea Nordling
Should you have an llc, should you have an S corporation, should you have an accountant help you with this? Is it legal for you to do xyz? How will I know if there's enough money to pay taxes? What if I don't have enough money to pay taxes? These are the things that people loop on. And I know this because it comes up in our conversations. Okay, so in the situation where somebody is looping on any of those decisions, I just said, and I'll go through them in detail, but any of those things, what they are actually looping on is should I prioritize this? Should I spend time and money setting up a business right now? If I don't know if this business is going to work? And that seems logical, it seems prudent, I understand the thought process.
07:09
Andrea Nordling
But what really happens is there's a subcurrent there of you thinking, maybe this isn't a business yet. Maybe I need to wait to see if I'm going to make money with this first before I allocate some financial resources and a few hours of my time to set it up properly. Because what if it doesn't work? And then that's just a waste and I don't want to do that. And so that resistance to committing to, yes, this is a business and I'm going to treat it as such, leads to you feeling like your business is a hobby, treating it like a hobby, talking about it like it's a hobby, approaching it time wise like it's a hobby, like it's the last thing on the list. And of course what happens is it's not a thriving business because you're not treating it like it is.
07:50
Andrea Nordling
So we have to address a few things. In this crucial, foundational decision in your business, you have to a of all decide that you have a business. It's not a hobby, it is a business and you are going to treat it as such. So that's the first decision. And then after you do that, and hopefully you just did, if you haven't already, then some things come forth like how am I going to collect money, how am I going to separate that money from my personal finances so I can track the revenue coming in and I can track the expenses that are going out for my business and I can report those at the end of the year to my accountant and I can make sure that everything is above board. I have enough money for taxes. I've planned ahead.
08:35
Andrea Nordling
How do I do those things? If you've never run a business before, you may not know how to do it and it might seem really overwhelming, which is why we are talking about this first and foremost. It doesn't have to be overwhelming. What you do have to do is talk to the right people that have the answers. So what this means is you're going to need to talk to your accountant. Don't have an accountant yet. Ask a business owner that you know who has a good accountant, who they use and go talk to that person. Okay? This is how you just handle it and you treat your business like it is a business and not a hobby. Okay? Highly, highly recommend.
09:14
Andrea Nordling
Now again, I go through this entire process in the TPN program and in tpn, I really, I give you two options here and I'll give you these options as well, but really strongly urging you towards the first one. First option is make the call, put it on your calendar, go meet with an accountant and just get these things handled. Second option is if you aren't ready to do that right now, but you are going to move forward anyway, put a date on your calendar when you are going to revisit this and you're going to make an appointment and you're going to handle it. So one way or another, it needs to get handled.
09:46
Andrea Nordling
If it isn't today, then put it on your calendar in a way that you are not going to forget and your brain can settle down about it and you know it is going to get handled a month from now, two months from now. Okay, so two options there. I highly, highly recommend that you do yourself a favor and just do it today. You are going to find out that actually any of the financial and legal decisions that you are unsure about right now can be resolved in a few phone calls, maybe a few meetings and you are going to feel so much better when you do this. You are going to know that you have liability insurance, for example, if you need that.
10:17
Andrea Nordling
You are going to know if you need to have a business structure set up so that you can maximize tax benefits for your business, like having an llc, like having an S corporation. I don't know outside of the United States, I don't know what these things are called. But wherever you are operating, there is a way for you to set up your Business and maximize tax savings. And you want to do that. So I'm not giving any tax advice here, but I'm saying that you should definitely talk to a really good accountant about how to do that. And if you don't have an accountant, it's time to get one. Because you are a business owner now, my friend. Decision has been made. So when you have these ducks in a row, what you have is separate finances between your business and your personal.
10:59
Andrea Nordling
Very, very important. So you can see what's coming in, and you can see what's going out. And in the beginning, more is going out than is coming in. And you need to track that, okay? That's called being a business owner. Nothing has gone wrong, but we do want to fix it, and we want to know when it is fixed and how fast it's getting fixed, which is why you need to have a mechanism in place to track the money coming in and the money going out. And this is as easy as an Excel spreadsheet or a Google sheet online. It's. This is not hard, okay? But you need to actually set it up and you need to do it. And people have a lot of resistance to that, like I said, because they think, oh, my gosh, this is going to be so hard.
11:36
Andrea Nordling
I don't want to put the time into it if this business isn't going to work out. And maybe that isn't a conscious thought that you're having. But not handling this probably means that on some subconscious level, even if it's not obvious, it. It's probably happening. Okay? You're probably thinking, gosh, I don't want to put time and money into this unless I know it's going to make money, it's going to be successful, it's going to pay me back. Well, things don't pay you back unless you decide that it's a business and you make it pay you back. All right, I think about this a lot like a baby, okay? A baby is born. Your business is your baby right now. Your business is a little newborn, and it's not going to pay your bills yet. It's a newborn. You need to take care of it.
12:18
Andrea Nordling
First of all, you need to decide that you're going to be a capable parent, that it's in good hands, and you're going to nurture it and you're going to feed it and you're going to take care of all of its needs so that it can grow and thrive. And someday. This is becoming a weird metaphor, but in someday, it can take care of you. So. So don't expect the business baby to be paying your bills day one. And don't wait for that to happen before you decide you're going to be a good parent. Okay? Now, however that landed for you, just take it, go with it. So that is decision number one. Your business, financials and legal decisions.
12:48
Andrea Nordling
And I'm really glossing over this for the purpose of this episode because we're not going to spend hours going through each of these decisions and how to make them. I just want you to right now be auditing. Ooh, is this something that I need to tend to? Is this something that I haven't been addressing and I've been putting it off and it's something that I need to get clarity on and I need to actually address. Decision number one, business financials. Do you need insurance? Do you need liability protection? What does that look like in your area? What does that look like in conjunction with your personal finances and everything else you have going on in your life? Make the decision, set up the accounts and do it right now. Okay? Moving on to decision number two. This is all about your niche. Okay?
13:33
Andrea Nordling
And either you are really in drama about this or you're totally good and in which case then this isn't something that's coming up for you. You would know when I say that word if I said niche and you had a visceral full body reaction to that, then you know that this is something that is coming up for you. The problem with the big niche decision, too niche, not to niche, that is the question is that it's seems like a huge decision. It seems like you are proposing marriage to this niche and there's no way that you can divorce later. I don't know. Again, I don't know if that it's the best comparison, but that's what people tell me that this feels like. It's such a big decision, it has to be right? You could never change it. It has to be the Goldilocks niche.
14:22
Andrea Nordling
That's not too specific, but it's not too broad and oh my gosh, can I talk about this forever and can I work with these types of people forever? And in the beginning of your business, you don't know the answer to any of those questions most of the time and it keeps you really stuck. So let's talk about why so many marketing experts and so many business coaches do want you to niche down and do want to talk about making this niche decision. The reason for that is because in time, as your business grows and you scale it.
14:49
Andrea Nordling
It is important to have a specific niche because if you are going to run group programs or you are going to run digital programs of some sort in the future and sell things to strangers on the Internet, it will be infinitely easier for you to do that. If you have a very specific type of person that you are marketing to and you have a very specific set of problems that you are solving for that person through a very specific process, and everybody is working towards the same goal to get the same results at the same time. That is when having a niche and talking about the same thing to the same person and getting the same results through the same process and is a sound decision, but in the beginning of your business, you're not doing that.
15:29
Andrea Nordling
And I'm talking to people on this episode that haven't even made $10,000 in their business yet or they're just starting out. So having a really high pressure niche decision isn't. Isn't the best use of your time. It's not the best use of your brain power, and it's not even a decision you need to make right now. So if you are second guessing, is this the right niche for me? Is this the right niche? Is this the right niche? We can just take the pressure off of that by saying, we're not going to decide on a niche right now. We're going to actually do that at point in the future. We're going to go work with 10 clients and then we're going to revisit that decision. We're going to go make $50,000, then we're going to make that decision.
16:04
Andrea Nordling
All right, so let's just take the pressure off of things that we don't need to worry about for the future. Because what I see time and time again is people getting so caught up on these decisions that will be important later. But later is far away. Later is not now. A lot of things are going to change between now and later when we need to make that decision. So let's just say stop trying to make the perfect business model that's scalable five years from now and doing it today, it's just not even reasonable. It's not even right. So if you know what your niche is and you are already solid on that, like I said, if I say the word niche and you're like, have no drama about that. You're like, oh, I'm solid, I'm good.
16:41
Andrea Nordling
I don't have a niche or I do and I know what it is, then you're good to go if you do have drama on this, we need to make this decision. And I have a whole framework that I bring you through to do it. But the long and short of it is this. This. Let's stop having drama where we don't need to have drama in our business. If you feel like you can't move forward because somebody somewhere online told you that you need to have a niche first and you don't have that figured out, let's just take the pressure off. Okay? That's it. This is an easy one. Decision number two, to niche or not to niche. Make the decision, move on. Decision number three, this one gets a little more complex. Okay? And this is all about your offer.
17:19
Andrea Nordling
What I call your easy yes offer. Now, a yeezy. An easy yes offer is easy for you to sell because you believe so deeply, 10 out of 10 confidence level that this is the best decision that your ideal clients could ever make to purchase this offer. You feel so convicted about it, you feel so confident could sell it to anyone, anytime. That's an easy yes for you, and it's an easy yes for them to buy because it gets them the results that they want. It's exactly what they've been searching for. It's the solution that they were hoping to find and now they found it and it's a very easy yes for them to say, let's go, when do we get started? That's your easy yes offer.
17:58
Andrea Nordling
But the decision on what to include in this offer and how to price this offer is what really trips people up. If you don't have an easy yes offer, you probably have multiple offers. It's probably very confusing. You have something that's low, you have something that's a little bit higher, you have something that's a little somewhere in between. You might have five others dropped in, sprinkled in throughout. Because when you try to DIY this yourself and you're not following a proven process, you take the market feedback that you get and in the beginning of your business, this is the first few people that you talk to, you get the feedback from them.
18:36
Andrea Nordling
Generally they tell you something along the lines of that's too expensive or I can't afford it, or I would do it if it was cheaper or I would do, I would love to do this. It sounds great. If it was like this X, y, Z thing, usually cheaper, usually different than what you're offering. And the reason for that is because you didn't make decisions on the offer and presented in a way that was a no brainer for them. So the easiest way to end a conversation is to say I can't afford it or it's too expensive or it's out of my budget because societal norms dictate that. We don't really question that. If somebody says this is too expensive for me, it's not usually the response to say, tell me more about that. Are you sure? Let's what is expensive?
19:17
Andrea Nordling
What were you expecting it to cost? We don't ask follow up questions or we don't get more information and we don't push back when somebody says I can't afford it. Typically now, there are definitely ways to navigate conversations more effectively and in better service of your clients. We talk about that in the TPN program too, but for most of us, especially when we're just starting our business, we're just crowdsourcing. We're just having some preliminary conversations about what we do and we're trying to figure out how to describe it and we're trying to figure out what makes people interested and we're trying to figure out what do they want, what do they not want? And in those conversations we can get some confusing data. And what I'm saying is, if I'm not being clear yet, let me be very clear.
19:57
Andrea Nordling
The data that we usually get in the beginning makes us think that we need to have a lower priced offer or we need to have five different offers, one for every type of person that could possibly cross our path. Both of these are wrong. Both of these set you up to have a really complicated business and a lot of headache when it comes to your marketing and your selling process. Remember, we are making this easier for you. We are setting your business up with these foundational decisions to be scalable and streamlined and highly profitable. So you have a lot more enjoyment in your business and your clients get way better results, which means they send all of the referrals your way. And that makes the whole machine chug along. Happy, happy. Month after month.
20:42
Andrea Nordling
I recently did a sales call with somebody considering joining TPN who did join the program and then reported back after her first few weeks in stage one where she was going through and creating her offer and then went and sold her offer, she said, oh my goodness. I just went through the stage one process where we do all these foundational decisions. She created her easy yes offer through that framework and then she realized that she needed to triple the price of her premium offer for it to be profitable for her business. And through talking to her before she got in the program, I knew that she had Been working with quite a few clients, but she was actually losing money up to that point.
21:17
Andrea Nordling
So I had told her on the sales call, listen, it's going to be very important that we figure out your offer and change it, because what you're doing right now is not working for your business. It's working for your clients, but it's not working for you. And you can't be losing money working with clients that. That doesn't actually work. So she went through the process, she audited everything that she was doing. She created a better offer, positioned it differently. So this was her one easy yes offer. Instead of having five different ways that people could work with her and them choosing the one that actually lost her money, which was a hu, we streamlined all of it, packaged it up into one easy S offer that was actually profitable. And yes, it was three times more expensive than what she had been selling before.
22:00
Andrea Nordling
But she was so much more confident to go sell it, and she was so grateful for that because she knew that it was going to better for her, obviously in her business. So she was excited to sell it, but she knew that the way that we had changed the offer around was actually going to get way better results for her clients. So that is when you have that conviction of knowing this is exactly what you need. It would be ridiculous for you not to buy this because I can help you and we're going to get you across the goal line. When you feel that you talk about your business differently, you put yourself in rooms where you can present what you do to the right people because you're confident about it.
22:35
Andrea Nordling
You create opportunities for yourself and for your business that you otherwise wouldn't do because you're unsure, oh, what do I even sell? Oh, my gosh, is this for the right person? Is it the right niche? Is it, is it priced right? Should I have a lower price offer that I think I need a low ticket, I think I need a high ticket, I think I need a medium ticket or all of this. And when you are looping on those decisions and you're unsure about it because you haven't gone through a very specific process that is proven to be able to walk you through these decisions.
23:03
Andrea Nordling
When you haven't done that, of course you're going to be doubting, of course every single thing that goes on in your business, every single objection that you get, every single thing that doesn't work the way you thought it would, your brain is going to go, see, wrong niche. See, I told you people where we Live. They don't have any money for this. They don't value it. See, nobody can afford this offer. See, see. No, that's not the case. But of course, left to our own devices, our brain will be very compelling in telling us that we made the wrong decision and we need to go make a different decision. So I say that as a reminder that we make these decisions one time following a reliable framework for how to do it, which is why I'm talking you through this.
23:43
Andrea Nordling
And in the profitable nutritionist program, we go through this in detail in stage one of the program. But we're. When we do it this way, we know that it is sound. We know that these decisions are going to get us to our goal. And we can just shut off the noise and the doubt and the looping on if we should remake the decisions. Again, that's why this is really important, especially because your marketing and your selling process isn't going to be effective with what you're doing the way that you want it to be if you don't believe that you've made good decisions here. So your offer is a huge component of that. Hopefully I have given you ample evidence of that. People come to me all of the time with some really bad offers that are not making money in their business.
24:27
Andrea Nordling
It's not helping their clients get results, and we have to fix that first. Which brings us to the last thing that I just said about people buying the offer because of the results. So let's talk about those results with decision number four. People buy because they know they are going to get results. When they work with you, that is how you confidently sell your offer. So how do you do that? Well, that's decision number four. You have decided your client process. And when I say this, people's brains explode. Now, this is a separate decision from your offer, but they are very closely linked together. Okay? So to decide your offer, a huge component of the offer is the process that you bring those clients through, though there are some other components of the offer. So these are linked together, but they are separate decisions.
25:13
Andrea Nordling
Your client process is your signature method of how you work with every single client and how you bring them through a series of milestones to get them results. What happens when people say, yes? This is what I hear on sales calls. Okay. People are like, oh, my gosh, I just don't know. I think I'm ready for to go all in on my business, but there's still part of me that's like, what happens if they actually buy? Then what am I going to do. I'm not sure my process works. Haven't actually done this with a paid client yet. I would feel so much more confident if I had already sold this offer to several people and brought them through the process.
25:46
Andrea Nordling
And I knew it worked for sure because I know it works for other people, and I know that it worked for other people in my certification, and I know that it should work, but I don't actually know if it works with other people. Our brains can be so compelling with all of these doubtful thoughts. Right. So these are. This is what I hear. I'm not sure that my client process is going to work. And to a certain extent, you have to just do it and bring clients through and make it work. That is the truth. I'm not going to sugarcoat it. It's not going to feel comfortable. The first few times you start delivering your process, it's not going to work the way that you thought it was going to.
26:18
Andrea Nordling
There's going to be some things that exceed your expectations, and there's going to be some areas where you realize, ooh, that was really confusing to them. I have to change this aspect of it. And you will change it and you will tweak it and your client process will get better. So there's an element of fake it till you make it here. I don't want to sugarcoat that. However, we can make that a lot more comfortable. I think the comfortable is the word that I want to use. When you go into delivering that process for the first time, having some foundational decisions already made about the process and knowing what you're going to do with those clients, so it isn't like, holy cow, they paid me. Now I have no idea what I'm going to do with this person.
26:56
Andrea Nordling
No, we don't want that to happen because you are not going to confidently sell your offer. If you are thinking, I don't know how I'm actually going to help them, that's not going to work. That's, again, pushing the boulder uphill. We don't want to do that. We want to have a system for making sure that you are checking in with your clients, you're onboarding them effectively, you are getting their goals, you are mapping the process that you're going to bring them through and the milestones that you're going to be measuring to their goals to make sure that you know that they are getting results and they know that they're getting results. This is all part of your process.
27:28
Andrea Nordling
And I know I'm going really fast because we could do a video, a two hour masterclass on how to create your client process, but we're not doing that today. What we are doing is we are establishing is this something that right now isn't clear in your business and in your brain? And it needs to be. So if that's coming up for you right now, as you're hearing this and you're thinking, gosh, I, I really don't feel like I confidently sell to people or I put myself in situations where I can talk about my business and I can talk about how I help people because I am nervous that I can't really help them and I'm staying invisible and I'm playing small and I'm on the sidelines because I secretly am thinking, oh my gosh, what if they did pay me?
28:05
Andrea Nordling
Then that would be even scarier. And people tell me that. So I know that's something that comes up for people. And if it's coming up for you, I want you to know we can fix this. We can fix this so fast. Because there is an actual strategy for setting up your client process so that you aren't bringing everybody through the same protocol you aren't bringing. And some, for some people in their business that does make sense. But for most people I work with, they are help clients on a very personalized basis. They're doing lab testing or they are doing assessments and intake that create a very personalized program or protocol or series of events process for this client. And it is very personalized.
28:45
Andrea Nordling
But there are milestones along the way and there are clear stages that you need to bring those clients through to make sure that they get results with whatever protocol you are giving to them. So we need to have that figured out. We need to have that process of checks and balances for you in your brain that you know there is no way that somebody could fail when they work with me because I have the evaluation points already in place. I already have these mechanisms for checking in with the clients, for making sure that I'm getting their feedback, for making sure that they are happy and supported. And if anything is going wrong, I'm going to know about it because I already have that built into my process that calms down your brain. Okay?
29:23
Andrea Nordling
You can't confidently sell something that you don't think you could actually deliver. There just. There won't be anything behind it. I know I've said this in past episodes, but in case you're tuning in for the first time, I'll remind you when you don't have the Confidence of knowing that you can get people results. And your mindset is in the trash about that. You could say all of the right words, you could have the right conversations, you could send the right emails. If you're on social media, you could putting up, be putting out the right posts, you could be doing all of the things right. And yet it doesn't land because it's like cooking a meal with all of the right ingredients, but you don't put any salt in. There's no salt. It doesn't taste good. Your confidence, your mindset, that is the salt, okay?
30:03
Andrea Nordling
That is the thing that takes all of the right actions, all of the right ingredients, and it makes it into something that people want to enjoy, they want more of, they want to talk to you about, they want to go to the next step, they want to buy it because they feel that conviction and that confidence that you have. But that doesn't happen unless your brain is on board, which is the whole purpose of this episode. And talking about these decisions that you need to make. And you need to have the tools to really sell yourself on the decisions that you've made and why they are the best, not only for your business for the long term, but also for your clients.
30:36
Andrea Nordling
So you confidently talk about them and you confidently promote your business and you make networking connections and you ask for referrals and you put yourself in the rooms where you are going to be able to help the most people because you feel confident in doing that. That's why this is so important. Okay, I know that I've said it, I've repeated it, but I really want you to hear that it isn't that there is the right decision to make in any of these situations. It's that you need to make the right decision for you and feel confident that it was the right decision and then stop worrying about it. Move forward, help the people go make that decision. Right? Instead of looping on, oh my gosh, was it the right niche? Oh my gosh, was it the right price? Should I have lowered it?
31:13
Andrea Nordling
A hundred dollars? Is that, Is that the thing? I saw somebody else, their price was a hundred dollars less than me. I bet that's the problem. No, no, no. We need to stop worrying about that. We need to feel confident in the decisions that we make. So let me recap again, these four foundational decisions that are so important. First of all, decision number one, your business, financials and legal decisions. Anything that is an unmade decision in that category for you, meaning you don't have business, bank Account set up. You don't have a business entity set up, but you feel like you should. You don't ha. You haven't answered the question on any legal aspect of what you can practice and how you can practice in your area.
31:53
Andrea Nordling
And if you need insurance, any of those things, those are like, oh gosh, I really do need to look into that. Any of that. We have to do it. Okay, so that's decision number one. Decision number two, your niche. To niche or not to niche. That should be an easy one. If not, we make it very easy in the process. I'm going to bring you through. And then decision number three, your offer. Your easy yes offer. This is, I highly suggest your one offer that you sell so you're not the watch salesman that whips open their trench coat and has five to six different offers inside. Have something for everybody that doesn't work. Okay. Ask me how I know this. That's exactly what I did. It doesn't work. Ask me how I know this.
32:32
Andrea Nordling
I've helped hundreds and hundreds of people to fix that problem. So I have a lot of experience in that regard. Your one easy yes offer that is going to be profitable in your business and is going to ensure that your clients get results. That's an easy yes for you to sell and an easy yes for them to say yes to. Hopefully that's obvious by the name. And then decision number four is closely related to that offer, but it's very specifically about your client process. Okay. How you are going to serve those clients when they say yes to you. We need to have that really solid so you feel confident talking about how you are going to help your clients because people are going to ask you questions about that. And if you haven't made these decisions, you can't answer their questions.
33:13
Andrea Nordling
And you start saying weird, vague, wishy washy strange things instead of directly and confidently answering the question. Because really you haven't made the decision yet. Okay. And we don't want that for you because it makes your business so much harder and it makes you feel like it isn't really a business. Which kind of feeds that first belief that I talked about at the beginning about your job not being a business yet, about it being a hobby. We call it a jobby a job hobby. And some people think that's kind of a, a demeaning statement, but that's. It is something that comes up. If you are treating this business like it isn't really a business, then you can't expect other people in your life to treat it like a business. Right? So that's why this matters so much.
33:55
Andrea Nordling
When you make these four foundational decisions firmly and you are sold on them, you feel confident about it. You don't need to loop on it anymore. Then your marketing stops feeling like you are pushing a boulder uphill. It stops. I have no idea what to say. Nobody's listening. Oh no, it doesn't feel like that anymore. You are confident. You do know what to say. It makes every conversation feel natural because you know what you're selling. Like I already said, but I'll say it again. If people are asking you questions about your process and about your offer and you're vague or unsure or wishy washy or wobbly on the answers, you're probably going to over talk. You're going to over educate, you're going to just word vomit on them and that is going to not result in a sale most of the time.
34:38
Andrea Nordling
Let's be clear. When you have not made these decisions, you are going to feel doubtful, you're going to feel confused, you're going to feel like you have to spend more time on it and your business isn't quite ready yet. But that just is not the case. Instead, we want you to be confident. We want your messaging to be confident. We want you to be moving forward and taking the actions that is going to help more people and of course, help your business to be successful. When you do this, referral partners just come out of the woodwork, okay? People come forth because they feel that confidence. They want you to help their people. They're like, can you do a talk here at my clinic? Can you do this? Opportunities open up, doors open up when you feel confident because you've made these decisions, okay?
35:17
Andrea Nordling
And then the snowball just rolls faster and faster down the hill as time goes on because people are getting results. You are working with more clients, they are referring more people to you and that builds your confidence. And then you feel even better about your offer and your process and you improve it and you talk about it more confident and it just snowballs and gets bigger and bigger. But it all starts in the beginning with having a little bit of that fake it till you make it and being willing to do that and just make the decisions and just go, okay. Hundreds and hundreds of people before me have done this successfully. I'm just going to trust the process and I'm going to move through, okay? And then all of the marketing strategies, everything you're doing works better.
35:55
Andrea Nordling
It just all gets easier and your Brain stops having so much resistance, which is really the name of the game. Like we said at the beginning, we want to work smarter, not harder. Yes, you can work through resistance. Yes, you can do hard things. Yes, you can hustle. I have no doubt about it. If you're an entrepreneur, you're listening to this episode right now. You have that in you. You have that grit, that, gosh, I'm just going to roll up my sleeves and I'm just going to get it done. I have that too. I get it. But you know what? It doesn't have to be that hard. We can leverage our strengths and we can leverage some of these very easy skills instead of fighting against the resistance all the time and making it hard.
36:31
Andrea Nordling
Okay, maybe that's a little aside, but I feel like it needed to be said. So now I want to tell you about the time sensitive, brand new thing that I alluded to in the beginning that I'm so excited about. Here's what it is. I am launching something brand new. It is called the TPN Quick Start. So for four weeks, we are going to tackle these four foundational decisions together. Doing one decision per week, going through everything I just talked about, solidly making those decisions and moving on week after week for four weeks together. So week one, we get all your business foundations in place with your finances and your legal whatever it is, okay? And we have a whole process for how we do that, but we make those decisions together on week one. Then week two, we nail down your niche decision.
37:16
Andrea Nordling
Week three, we really rip apart your one premium offer and rebuild it and create that easy, yes offer. Easy for you to sell, easy for your ideal client to say yes to. And then week four, we map out your signature client process together, step by step. So in doing this, you are getting full access to stage one content from inside my signature program called the Profitable Nutritionist. I shorten that to say tpn. So if you are unfamiliar with what I mean when I say tpn, that stands for the Profitable Nutritionist. So this is paid content from inside the TPN program, complete with checklists and step by step guides and our AI tools that you get access to. Everything that you need to make these decisions the right way is included in the Quick Start.
37:59
Andrea Nordling
Plus you get weekly live coaching with me to make sure that you actually get this done. You don't procrastinate it anymore, and you can ask any questions that come up live on those calls. So this is for you. This TPN Quick Start is for you. If you haven't yet made $10,000 in your business. It is for you if you are just starting out or if you want to launch your business in the next two to three months with solid foundations, this is for you. It is definitely for you if you've been trying to DIY these foundations yourself, but it just isn't working. So if that is speaking to you, this is for you.
38:31
Andrea Nordling
Now, the full TPN program where I teach this process is a $4,000 investment which is easily worth 10x that amount in your first year of the program as you build out these foundations and as you start to consistently sign three to five clients a month, which is the benchmark in the program. But this TPN Quick Start four week series is different than the full program. Okay, Like I said, I've never done this before. You are going to get full access to stage one of the repeatable revenue process that I teach in the program for just $497. Okay, I'm really excited as I say that. I'm like on my seat. I wish you could see me. I'm leaning forward.
39:07
Andrea Nordling
I'm just so excited as I give you the price and I give you the details of this offer because it is so different than anything I've ever offered before. And I've been hearing over and over again from people who want to get into the TPN program that they just need to get solid on their process and their offer and their finances first. So here we go. Okay, we're going to do it together week by week again with live coaching calls for support every single week for four weeks and for less than 500 bucks. I am just so over the moon to finally be debuting this Quick Start.
39:38
Andrea Nordling
But as I was putting this series together and I was figuring out exactly what were going to do and how it was going to work, I knew that when I talked about it, some people were going to be unsure if they should just start with the Quick Start right away and tackle stage one week by week and go through this offer or if they should jump straight into the full TPN program. And I knew that there would be some dissonance there and there would be some confusion. So the answer is yes, you are going to want the full TPN program after you get your financial ducks in a row and after you know your niche and after you have your easy S offer dialed in and price to sell and.
40:10
Andrea Nordling
And after you have a bulletproof client process that you're super confident is going to get them results, you are going to want the full program. Okay? So for that reason you don't have to choose between the Quick Start and the full program. Your $497 investment in the Quick Start can be applied toward the full TPN program at any point during our four weeks together. So I'm going to say that again. You can apply your $497 investment in the Quickstart towards the full TPN program at any point during the Quick Start time together. So if you want to move faster, if you want to dive into stage two right away where we work on your messaging and your selling process, because you work really quickly through these other decisions, you can do that.
40:47
Andrea Nordling
You can upgrade anytime to the full TPN program by applying your $497 towards that at any point during the quick start four weeks. Now I've said that a bunch of different ways. I hope it is landing during the Quick Start, which is live for four weeks together of us going through all of these foundational decisions. And when you decide you want to upgrade to the full program, you can apply your $497 investment towards that. So if you are just starting out or you have been at this for a while but your business just hasn't brought in the money that you want it to yet, I'm going to give the Benchmark here of $10,000. If you haven't made at least 10k yet with your offer, then the TPN Quick Start is going to be game changing for you. You cannot miss out on this. Okay?
41:27
Andrea Nordling
We are starting January 26th. I don't know if the Quick Start will ever be offered again, but if it is, it probably will be a little different. 42:58
Andrea Nordling
Like I said, I have never offered anything like this before and if it sounds like what you need, especially as went through those four foundational decisions today, if you're nodding your head and going oh my gosh, I do. I need to get clear on my offer. I need to get clear on my client process. I need to get more confident about how I am tracking the finances in my business. I need to finally know what my niche is and who I am talking to. If any of that is landing and it probably is, if you haven't yet made 10k with your offer, then get into the Quick Start. Okay? You are going to be able to basically test drive the TPN process with stage one and apply your to the full program before our four weeks is over.
43:38
Andrea Nordling
